One Thing That Taoyuan Metro Taught Me

IST, Integrated Systems Testing, and PRSR, Pre-Revenue Service Running, have been undergone by TMC, Taoyuan Metro Corporation, in Taiwan for an endlessly long time, and one thing this company taught me is “Efficiency Wage”, a response to asymmetric information about employees, combating both ex-ante Adverse Selection and ex-post Moral Hazard. If, on the one hand, a firm reduces its wage, the better employees may take jobs elsewhere, leaving the firm with inferior staffs who have fewer alternative opportunities. One the other hand, firms cannot perfectly monitor their employees’ work effort, and staffs must themselves decide how hard, how right and how smart to work. An iffiest future! The worst lesson!

Are you the one swaying a bell made from silver to summon me?
Here was traded well, and quantitatively as well as qualitatively.
If, however, you are a real connoisseur, well, I am not to float.

The Sorrow of Yesterday

It’s weird that shifting career always reminds me of “The Sound of Colors”, especially for these sentences: “I've forgotten the sorrow of yesterday. Whatever forgettable are no more important. But, not so easy! Besides of my sadness, how about my hates?

Sunrise Pacific, Taiwan

Jointing “Sunrise Pacific Co., Ltd.” in Taiwan is one of A-Mao’s worst decisions. Been in this strange company less than one month was often challenged by interviewers when shifting career……Nevertheless, it is an odd but fantastic experience of watching lots of fantastic things there.

Kite Runner

Those wandering kites.
Have they found nice keepers?
I counted fruitless tethers in some nights.
My lovely, passing aircraft, sorry for I’m a bad runner.

Penguin Effect

One day, a cloud of penguins stood on an iceberg floating on the ocean. All of them were very starving, but no one dared to go foraging, because there might be seals, penguins’ natural enemies, swimming under the sea. Suddenly, one of them jumped, and then the others rushed into following it. Finally, thank God everyone came back safe and sound, and they surrounded and acclaimed the penguin that jumped first. ‘Fuck! Someone kicked me off!’ the first one shouted.

The First-Night Story of One Thousand and One Nights

The story says that as brave as clever Scheherazade, the vizier's daughter, met the virgin-killer Sultan first time.
‘I cannot see sunrise tomorrow anyway. My one-night husband, my forever king. May I tell a story for you?’ she lingeringly said.
‘OK! OK! But as soon as you can!’ strong and nude Sultan lay on the bed and said pettishly,
Beautiful Scheherazade, then, sat down on the bed and was telling leisurely……

Long long time ago, in Baghdad, there were three slave girls washing clothes and talking by the Tigris River.
‘When could you open your mouth widest?’ one of them suddenly asked.
‘When I am eating the master’s food behind his back.’ The first girl said hastily.
Subsequently, the other two were scolding her.
‘When I am singing for the master.’ the second girl said proudly.
Subsequently, the other two were asking her for techniques.
‘When I’m serving the master.’ the last girl said bashfully.
Subsequently, there were lots of jealous expressions from the other two’s eyes.

Accordingly, beautiful Scheherazade told stories for one thousand and one nights, and then those stories become a masterpiece, a frame story, the “Scheherazade”.
